Grape variety: 100 % Manzoni Bianco (A cross-cultivation between Riesling and Weißburgunder)
Terroir: The Manzoni Bianco grows at 250 meters above sea level on scree near the Trudener river. South-west facing, the warm climate renders this variety fresh and fruity.
Colour: Light to straw yellow
Production: The Manzoni Bianco ripens early and is harvested in mid september. The grapes are destemmed and after short contact with the skins are gently pressed. The wine is fermented in a steel tank then seasoned on fine yeast until Easter.
Degustation: The nose is reminiscent of fresh apples, of a fine Weißburgunder, and of white peaches. Fresh, delicate, fruity flavours with a beautiful minerality. The finish reveals citrus notes. The wine is named after the daughter of the estate, Eva.
Suggestions: Slightly chilled as an aperitif. Recommended with fish, shellfish, risotto and pasta dishes.
